Welcome

Founded in 1960 by the late Colonel M.C. Sifton, the Toronto Polo Club is one of North America’s largest polo clubs. With an active membership of over 70 playing members, plus a strong group of social members, there is much activity at the club year round. Polo is played almost twelve months of the year, the indoor polo season runs from October until April, and the outdoor season from May until September.
Polo activities, field locations, and game times change on a daily basis at the Toronto Polo Club. The Club has a 24 hour polo hotline that is constantly updated to keep members, guests, and general public informed of what’s going on. The Polo Hotline number is: 905-888-POLO (7656)

Learn to play

Do you want a new and exciting experience? Why not try a sport that offers all of the speed and skill of a hockey game, combined with the thrill of riding a horse. Polo has often been called “hockey on horseback”, and not only is it one of the most glamorous sports, but also one of the most challenging and exhilarating team sports around. Learning to play is not as difficult as you may think. To find out more please click on learn to play.

Chukkers for Charity

The Toronto Polo Club hosts several polo events each year that raise money for charity. Public are welcome to come out and support these great causes, and can either “tailgate” or buy a reserved table or corporate tent. There really is no better way to spend a summer afternoon in the country…. and all for a great cause!
